Scores feared dead in Washington DC after American Airlines jet collides with army helicopter

Search and rescue operations in freezing conditions are ongoing, after American Airlines flight 5342 collided with a US Army Black Hawk helicopter, near Washington DC. 67 people were on board the two aircraft, which crashed into the Potomac river in Arlington, Virginia. So far, there has been no confirmation of survivors. According to media reports, at least 19 bodies have been recovered.
