Seven newborns die in blaze at unlicensed hospital in New Delhi

02:02 Min

Growing outrage in India, after seven newborn babies were killed in a hospital fire in New Delhi over the weekend. Investigations showed the hospital stayed in operation even though its licence expired two months ago. Officials said it's likely a short circuit started the blaze, and that the presence of flammable oxygen cylinders caused the fire to spread rapidly. The owner of the hospital and the doctor on duty -- who fled when the blaze started -- have been arrested. Neha Poonia reports.
