Singapore and China looking to work together in new areas like sustainability, digital payments
Singapore and China are expected to collaborate on new areas in the sustainability and digital fronts. Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong says this will range from green financing and investments, to digital payment systems and trade documentation. He was speaking in an interview with four journalists to discuss his priorities after assuming the position as co-chair of the Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation. Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang will also make a two-day official visit to Singapore from Sunday for the event.
