The Central Narcotics Bureau is targeting the proliferation of new psychoactive substances (NPS) in Singapore, as supply rises exponentially worldwide. These lab-produced substances mimic the effects of controlled drugs like cannabis and heroin, and can be smuggled in the form of everyday items.
