Singapore cracks down on vaping with harsher penalties, including jail and caning
Singapore is moving to intensify its crackdown on vaping, especially devices laced with illicit drugs, such as etomidate. It will roll out a suite of harsher penalties from Sep 1, including jail and caning. For a start, etomidate and eight other similar substances will be listed as a Class C controlled drug for six months under the country's Misuse of Drugs Act.
