Singapore forms Electoral Boundaries Review Committee in key step towards next General Election
The Electoral Boundaries Review Committee (EBRC) has been formed, ahead of Singapore's next General Election which must be held by November this year. The EBRC will review the boundaries of the current electoral divisions, and recommend the number and boundaries of Group Representation Constituencies (GRCs) and Single Member Constituencies. Associate Professor Eugene Tan from the SMU School of Law discusses the work of the EBRC and the potential challenges for the committee.
