Singapore, Japan unveil artwork 7km beneath the ocean

Singapore is now the first country with an art installation seven kilometres beneath the ocean. Comprising three metal cubes, the work was created by Singaporean artist Lakshmi Mohanbabu, local tech firm NuStar Technologies and Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Ms Mohanbabu and Nanyang Assistant Professor Lai Chang Quan from the Singapore Centre for 3D Printing and School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at NTU discuss their creation. They talk about the inspiration behind their artwork and the process of combining art with technology.
