Singapore pledges dedicated training facilities, full sports science support for para-athletes
Singapore's para-athletes will soon get dedicated training facilities and full sports science support, among others. This, as the country works to put them on equal footing with abled athletes. Culture, Community and Youth Minister Edwin Tong said para-athletes will have a space to call their own at the new Home of Team Singapore in Kallang. With two gold medals from swimming and the silver medal in boccia, this Games has been Team Singapore's best showing at a Paralympics to date.
