Singapore under cyber attack from sophisticated group UNC3886: Shanmugam
Home Affairs Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security K Shanmugam says Singapore must strengthen its cyber defences. He announced that Singapore is currently under attack from a sophisticated group known as UNC3886. Mr Shanmugam was speaking at the Cyber Security Agency's 10th anniversary dinner. He adds that authorities will update the Cybersecurity Act to get more powers to deal with threats.
