Singapore unveils road map to help develop international business standards and conformance

Singapore has unveiled plans to help develop international standards in emerging and key areas such as AI, clean energy and biomedical technology. Other focus areas of the new Standards and Conformance (S&C) 2035 road map include public health, sustainability, business resilience and digital trust. Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong said standards can help build trust in global trade in a time of geopolitical uncertainty. The aim is also to help businesses to adopt these standards early and compete better in overseas markets.
