Singapore’s decision to teach Israel-Hamas conflict in school is about fostering empathy, respect for different views: Education Minister

Singapore's Education Minister Chan Chun Sing says including the Israel-Hamas conflict as part of school curriculum is not about teaching history or placing blame. Instead, it's about instilling empathy, and fostering respect for different perspectives. Mr Chan was speaking to the press in response to concerns raised online by some parents about how the conflict is being taught in school. Jeraldine Yap reports.
