Ahead of his Milano-Cortina Games debut, Singaporean skier Faiz Basha trained on roller skates around the country's National Stadium. The 23-year-old is Singapore's first alpine skier at the Winter Olympics and the sole athlete representing the country at the 2026 edition.
He earlier told CNA about how he bounced back from a traumatic accident at 14. He ruptured an intestine on the slopes and needed to be airlifted to a hospital for emergency surgery.
