Singapore's Paralympians return to warm welcome after landmark showing at Paris Games
Team Singapore Paralympians received a warm reception at Changi Airport this morning, after returning from Paris. Yip Pin Xiu won two golds in swimming while Jeralyn Tan took home a historic silver in boccia. The athletes were greeted by a spectacular water cannon salute shortly after their plane touched down. The celebration for Team Singapore Paralympians continues this Saturday. Supporters can catch them along Orchard Road, Chinatown, Victoria Street and Serangoon Road, as they parade through the heart of Singapore on an open-top bus. Richa Mathew reports.Â
