South Korean prosecutors raid People Power Party HQ after arresting former first lady
South Korean prosecutors have raided the headquarters of the main opposition People Power Party, which former President Yoon Suk Yeol was previously a member of. Party leader Song Eon-seog criticised the raid as "nothing short of gangster behaviour". Authorities said the operation was conducted to gather evidence in an election-meddling case against Mr Yoon's wife, Kim Keon-hee. The raid took place after she was arrested overnight. Prosecutors can detain Ms Kim for up to 20 days. If formally indicted, she could remain in jail for up to six months.
