Call for more foster parents to provide stable environments for children and young people to thrive

24 foster children and youths received awards for doing well in areas like academics, sports and arts. The Social and Family Development Ministry calls on more people to become foster parents, as it continues to enhance support for them. This year, MSF enhanced allowances for foster families caring for teenagers and boosted casework support for older youths. Fostering agencies provide crucial support by making regular home visits as well. Alif Amsyar reports.
