Pest management workers to get pay rises under Progressive Wage Model

About 1,800 pest management workers in Singapore will benefit from sustainable wage increases and clearer career pathways under the Progressive Wage Model. The sector is the 10th to be covered by the scheme, with a new tripartite cluster set to develop wage ladders, training requirements and career progression while encouraging greater use of technology to improve productivity. The rollout is expected to take about two years. CNA speaks to Dr Wan Rizal, Chairman of the new Tripartite Cluster for Pest Management Industry.
