The government has assured that Singapore’s laws and border security will not be compromised when the upcoming Johor Bahru–Singapore RTS Link opens later this year. Second Minister for Home Affairs, Edwin Tong said one measure will be surveillance cameras on trains, monitored in real time. He was responding to MPs’ concerns over a newly passed that allows Malaysian officers to operate in designated areas here.
