Woman, 38, charged over Chinatown car accident that killed six-year-old girl; gag order issued

The driver of a high-profile accident in Chinatown has been charged with one count of careless driving resulting in death and one count of careless driving resulting in grievous hurt. The accident near the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in February killed a six-year-old girl and sent her mother to the hospital. Both of them were tourists from Indonesia. The 38-year-old accused cannot be named due to a gag order to protect her six-year-old son. In court, the accused did not indicate her plea.
