A home for teenaged girls who have suffered neglect or abuse is offering a small group care model. It includes a smaller resident to staff ratio and 24/7 on-site psychologists. It's a first-of-its-kind for those above 12 years old, hoping to fill a longstanding gap of support for this group. Located in Potong Pasir, HCSA Dayspring used to focus solely on those with severe clinical symptoms, such as trauma and are of suicidal risk. Now, it has expanded to serve those with a history of abuse, neglect and other high-risk behaviours.
