SingPost launches six-month trial for digital stamps
SingPost is launching digital stamps for domestic mail, with users buying postage on their phones and writing a unique code on the envelope instead. The postal operator says the service is Asia's first and is aimed at making sending mail more convenient. There will be a six-month trial for digital stamps. The launch also builds on the complete rollout of the SingPost@MyBlock initiative across more than 20,000 buildings. Under the scheme, residents can use existing 'Return Mail' slots at letterbox nests to post letters and small parcels. Eugene Chow reports.
