Tarique Rahman sworn in as Bangladesh Prime Minister

Tarique Rahman, leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, has been sworn in as the country's new prime minister, following his party's landslide win in elections last week. He and nearly 300 new lawmakers were also sworn into parliament, becoming the first elected representatives since Sheikh Hasina was overthrown. Mr Rahman takes over from the interim government led by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus for 18 months. He has pledged to restore stability and revive growth, calling on all parties to "remain united". Afifah Ariffin reports on his administration’s immediate priorities.
