Thai medical council upholds sanctions on doctors involved in ex-PM Thaksin's case
Thailand's Medical Council has voted overwhelmingly to override a veto by Public Health Minister Somsak Thepsutin in a case involving the hospital detention of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. The council had earlier sanctioned three doctors who had facilitated Mr Thaksin's controversial stay at the Police General Hospital last year. Jeremy Koh reports.
