Thailand's Princess Bajrakitiyabha dies, aged 47, after prolonged illness
Thailand's Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati — the eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn — has died after a prolonged illness. She was 47. The Royal Palace said she passed away last evening. Her remains will lie in state at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in Bangkok. Princess Bajrakitiyabha had served as the Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations in Vienna. After which, she was appointed Thai ambassador to Austria from 2012 to 2014.
