Trump in Japan for second stop of Asia diplomacy blitz, to meet PM Takaichi tomorrow
US President Donald Trump is in Japan for the second stop of his diplomacy blitz across Asia this week. Japan’s Emperor Naruhito gave Mr Trump a royal welcome at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. They spoke for about an hour, with Mr Trump calling the emperor "a great man". Mr Trump will have a face-to-face meeting tomorrow with the country’s new Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
