Two self-radicalised Singaporean teens detained under Internal Security Act
Two Singaporean teens have been dealt with under anti-terrorism laws for planning terror-related activities after their self-radicalisation online. One is a 17-year-old boy, who was detained after his plans to attack several local mosques were uncovered. The other is a 15-year-old girl who has been issued a restriction order for supporting the Islamic State. She is the first female youth to be caught under the Internal Security Act. According to the Internal Security Department, over the past decade, 17 youths aged 20 and below have been dealt with under the ISA.
