Ukraine crisis and Indo-Pacific partnerships top agenda of upcoming NATO summit
The Ukraine crisis will be top of the agenda as 32 member nations and other partners meet for the NATO summit this week. This, as Russia has continued its assault in Ukraine, with no signs of backing down. For NATO allies, there's the even greater threat of what the Kremlin might do beyond those borders. US officials have also said Indo-Pacific partnerships will be another key theme of the summit, as NATO allies and their partners -- Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand -- recognise that the challenges they face are increasingly intertwined.
