US-China trade tensions: President Trump declares trade war, Bessent floats long truce

Uneasiness is lingering over the trade stance between US and China. US President Donald Trump has declared that America is back in a trade war with China. However, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is appearing to take a more conciliatory tone.
