Using AI as a 'second pair of eyes' to detect breast cancer earlier and more accurately

Breast cancer could be detected faster and more accurately with the use of artificial intelligence. With National Breast Cancer Awareness Month underway, experts believe the technology could be pivotal in detecting the disease earlier. In around less than half the time it used to take manually, the software — which is around 95% accurate — produces a detailed report on the presence of cancer and problem areas.
