Vivian Balakrishnan on Singapore’s position on Israeli-Palestinian conflict
Singapore has consistently supported the right of the Palestinian people to a homeland of their own, said Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan. Replying to an MP’s questions in parliament on Friday (Feb 28), he said Singapore believes that this is the only viable path for achieving a comprehensive, just and durable solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He stressed that the only path is a negotiated two-state solution, in particular, negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis.
