With rapid technological change and a talent-scarce economy, strengthening human resource (HR) capabilities is essential to help companies thrive and support Singaporeans through multi-stage careers, said MP Jessica Tan. In parliament on Tuesday (Mar 3), she put forward five priorities to do this. They include adopting skills-based workforce planning and scenario modelling, and making HR a key steward of ethics, transparency and trust in decisions on how AI is used in the workplace.
