Ministerial statement: Indranee Rajah on need for Pritam Singh to clarify statements on 'gatecrash' in Deros-Faisal Manap meeting
In parliament on Tuesday (Nov 4), Leader of the House Indranee Rajah called on Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh to clarify statements made in Parliament which appear to have been contradicted by statements made outside of the House. In a ministerial statement, she stressed the need to highlight what these contradictions are and give Mr Singh an opportunity to state his position. This relates to an important issue during the ministerial statement on race and religion by Minister K Shanmugam on Oct 14 2025. Specifically, she referred to the issue of "gatecrash" in the meeting involving preacher Noor Deros and Workers' Party candidate Muhamad Faisal Abdul Manap.
