03:39 Min

In parliament on Wednesday (Apr 8), Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Manpower Shawn Huang said platform operators and platform work associations should continue bilateral discussions on industry-wide and accepted principles relating to treatment and protection of workers. This includes information that can be provided during disruptions such as an operator exiting the market; this has been done before when it came to transparency of earnings. He encouraged NTUC to continue to lead such discussions. Mr Huang was answering an MP’s questions.
