Chinese President Xi Jinping has hosted a rare meeting with the country's top business leaders, including some of the biggest names in tech. The symposium is seen as an effort to boost private business sentiment as China faces an intensifying trade war with the United States, on top of slowing economic growth. Mr Xi reportedly delivered a speech, urging company chiefs to expand their businesses domestically and internationally. Alibaba co-founder Jack Ma was there, as well as the founder of DeepSeek along with the CEOs of Meituan, Xiaomi, and Huawei.
