At the inquiry into the death of popular Indian singer-songwriter Zubeen Garg, witnesses said he did not appear to smell of alcohol when he arrived at Keppel Bay Marina on the day he died. Several others on the yacht also said he had been sipping from one can of beer during the boat ride. Mr Garg died in Singapore last year in the waters off Lazarus Island. At the Coroner's Court, seven witnesses — including six who were on board the yacht with Mr Garg —  recounted events leading up to the fatal swim. Mr Garg's uncle and nephew were also present at the inquiry today. The inquiry continues tomorrow. Sabrina Ng reports.
