The Singapore women's water polo team have ended their Group A campaign in the World Aquatics Championships, after losing 32-5 to Italy. In terms of goals scored and conceded in the group stage, Singapore — ranked 22nd in the world — fared better than in their previous Championships. They scored 14 goals in the group stage, double of what they scored in Doha last year, and conceded 13 fewer goals.
