The US and Iran inked an agreement on Wednesday (Jun 17) to end their war, after more than three months of fighting.

The White House said the deal - which includes the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz - is in effect, though it is unclear when access to the crucial trade corridor will be restored.

All eyes are now on the meeting on Friday in Switzerland for "initial negotiations about implementing the agreement", which the Swiss government said will still take place.
