Much uncertainty remained on Monday (Apr 20) over the progress of negotiations between the US and Iran, even as a US delegation is said to arrive in Pakistan for the next round of peace talks.

With a two-week ceasefire set to expire, Iran has not yet confirmed its attendance. A senior Iranian official said Tehran was "positively reviewing" its participation but stressed that no final decision had been made.
