Nissan to streamline global lineup to 45 models from 56

YOKOHAMA, Japan, April 14 : Nissan Motor said on Tuesday it plans to streamline its global lineup to 45 models from 56 and seek to deploy its artificial intelligence driving technology across 90 per cent of its lineup over the long term.
The company said in a press release its ambition was to return to annual sales of 1 million vehicles in the United States by the 2030 financial year and grow its annual sales volume in Japan to 550,000 cars by that time.
