CNA938 Rewind - Bad Girls Rule – the Director & Actresses Talk About Their Hit Film “Amoeba”
In ‘Culture Club’ Melanie Oliveiro speaks with the creatives behind the award-winning Singapore film “Amoeba”. Amoeba is set in an all-girls secondary school, where 16-year-old dropout Choo Xin Yu and three fellow misfits: Vanessa, Sofia, and Gina, form a secret rebel gang who go on a hunt for the supernatural — armed with nothing but a camcorder and their defiance. Director Tan Siyou will talk about Amoeba’s plot points, while actresses Ranice Tay (Choo Xin Yu) and Nicole Lee (Vanessa Ooi) will discuss what drives and suppresses their characters.
