CNA938 Rewind - Beatrice Chia-Richmond & The Albatross File Exhibition – Walking in the Footsteps of SG’s Founding Fathers
In “Made in SG”, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with actor and theatre director Beatrice Chia-Richmond who is also creative director of the exhibition “The Albatross File: Singapore’s Independence Declassified”. The now permanent exhibition at the National Library Building revisits the moments that led to Singapore's separation from Malaysia in 1965. Chia-Richmond will explain how she and the team produced the exhibition - presented in the footsteps of Singapore’s founding leaders. She’ll also discuss key exhibition highlights like an interactive wall; a room showing archival footage and oral history interviews with cinematic re-enactments; and another room in which visitors can use a generative artificial intelligence-powered chatbot.
