In ‘Destination Anywhere’, Melanie Oliveiro finds out where art lovers can view Pivoines or Peonies, a treasured oil painting by Impressionist artist Claude Monet, and one of the very first works that served as an ode to the floral beauty of his garden in Giverny, France. Catherine Kwai, founder and CEO of Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery – the organisation that brought Peonies to Singapore – will share more facts about the 19th century painting, which can now be viewed at the gallery’s “Worlds Beyond Reality – Monet’s Legacy II” exhibition at 30 Beach Road. Kwai will also discuss the exhibition’s other artworks put out by prominent contemporary artists like the late Lalan, Ziad Dalloul, Shara Hughes and Singapore’s very own Teo Eng Seng.

Organised by founder Lavania Priya, the pageant proper started in November 2025 and after several rounds, including a swimsuit segment, will conclude with the grand final in February 2026. Priya will talk about how a pageant of this nature is put together and why contestants must go through deportment and public speaking training, as well grooming lessons. Contestant Krishnaveni Naidu will share her experiences as a Miss & Mrs ASEAN 2026 contestant thus far.
