In ‘Culture Club’ Melanie Oliveiro finds out what’s new at this year’s VERSE, a literary arts programme organised by Arts House Group. Held across the Civic District from 9 to 31 January in conjunction with the annual Light to Night festival, VERSE 2026 features more than 15 programmes blending text, sound, discussions, movement and visual art. Arts House Group’s Michelle Choy will provide main highlights - including interactive installations, immersive performances and hands-on activities - spanning ticketed and free programmes. Visual artist and illustrator Aida Sa'ad will talk about “brumblings”, an interactive outdoor installation at The Arts House lawn where alphabet blocks bump into each other.
