Set in an alternative world where humans coexist with supernatural beings, “City of Others” is an urban fantasy about civil servant Benjamin Toh whose job is to keep Singapore’s supernatural inhabitants happy and out of sight. But soon, Ben has his work cut out for him when an entire housing block starts disappearing into a watery dimension. Poon will talk about how the novel came about and how he clinched an international publishing contract.
