CNA938 Rewind - A Letter to Myself: Imran Mean's stay in a shelter planted seeds of entrepreneurship and compassion
Imran Mean, who's in his early twenties, had a tough time growing up. For a period, he and his family had to stay in a shelter. The experience planted in him the seeds of hard work, tenacity, and entrepreneurship — he began selling snacks to his classmates to supplement his pocket money. Today, he runs an expanding business providing professional services in Singapore and Malaysia, while also leading his own group — IM Volunteer Network — which helps to alleviate the burden on vulnerable families and empower youths-at-risk.
