Singapore is rolling out a S$45 million one-off grant to support clinics, nursing homes and private hospitals in upgrading digital systems and strengthening cybersecurity as they prepare for new mandatory data-sharing requirements under the Health Information Act (HIA). The funding aims to ease compliance costs and help healthcare providers protect patient information while integrating with the National Electronic Health Record (NEHR) system – part of efforts to modernise care delivery and safeguard sensitive health data.
