E-sports, as well as mind sports like chess and bridge, will be formally recognised as sports. That’s after a Bill was passed in parliament yesterday. Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth David Neo said these amendments to the Singapore Sports Council Act are part of a move to support Singaporeans’ diverse sporting aspirations.
