CNA938 Rewind - Raising awareness to call for ambulance when someone is having a stroke
A recent study by Stroke Support Station (S3) found that only about 40 % of people in Singapore knew to call an ambulance when encountering someone having a stroke, despite high awareness of stroke symptoms. Meanwhile, stroke incidence in Singapore has risen sharply: from nearly 6,000 cases in 2010 to about 9,700 cases in 2022.
