Singapore is revamping how it rates food outlets: from Jan 19, SFA’s SAFE framework swaps the old A–D, once-a-year “snapshot” for A–C grades based on a longer-term safety track record. Serious lapses can drop an outlet straight to C with tighter scrutiny — while “NEW” outlets (under a year) won’t be graded A–C yet.
