An Esplanade commission staged by local theatre company Teater Ekamatra, “Yusof” traces the President’s beginnings as a journalist to becoming Singapore’s first head of state. Cast members Sani Hussain, Siti Khalijah and Fauzie Laily will discuss their roles that offer a glimpse into the life and times of Yusof Ishak who dedicated his life in service to Singapore.

It’s part of Giant Delight SG60 - which comes under the PAssionArts Festival – that features 18 super-sized, interactive art installations co-created by artists and residents, each celebrating unique neighbourhood stories across Singapore. Ng will talk about being the lead artist for the North East Mega Giant Delight installation “Living Side by Side”, and how she was involved in a total of 5 out of the 18 Giant Delight installations. Ng will also discuss how she worked with the community to decorate the installations/pods. Joining in the conversation is People’s Association’s Ting Min Er, who leads the Giant Delight programme.
