Going Underground
Going Underground: What Lies Deep Beneath Singapore?
The tiny island nation of Singapore may be running out of space. To make way for rapid urbanization and to maximise its space, the city has set its sights on moving underground. Deep beneath the surface lies a subterranean world few have seen or heard of before. From an enormous life-saving structure under a UNESCO World Heritage site and long-lost military bunkers getting a second lease of life, to laboratories underground for psychological experiments, and secretive rave parties set underground, we follow a series of intrepid explorers, urban farmers, engineers, scientists and clandestine party-goers as they re-discover and re-imagine what life underground in Singapore could be like.
